Greg Wand joined the Hudson Smith Real Estate Group in 2015. Before working with Hudson Smith and Coldwell Banker he attended the University of Guelph majoring in the Real Estate and Housing program. During his third year of university he obtained his Real Estate license.

As time went on his passion for residential Real Estate brought him back to Guelph and Coldwell Banker welcomed Greg with open arms. Since his days as a student he has come full circle and has returned to the University of Guelph on many occasions as a guest speaker for the Real Estate and Housing program! Greg is ambitious, professional and highly motivated to succeed.

WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE A CAREER IN REAL ESTATE?

I remember being 12 years old when my parents sold their first home in Mississauga, the real estate agents came to my parents’ house in suits and briefcases and presented the offer at our kitchen table. I thought how cool it was that’s what they did for a living, negotiating, helping people out & going in out of beautiful homes every day.

WHAT PART OF YOUR WORK DO YOU FIND MOST REWARDING?

Constantly interacting with new and different people everyday. You meet people in this business from every walk of life and hear so many different stories. Some of course heartbreaking and heartwarming (most of the time I help with the heartwarming part).

WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE TO SETTLE IN GUELPH, WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE PARTS OF THE CITY?

Perfect combination between not too big and not too small. If you want to be a part of a community it’s there, and if you want some space that’s easy too!

WHAT CAN YOU BE FOUND DOING WHEN YOU'RE NOT AT THE OFFICE?

Spending time with my family. I also do Crossfit! And yes, I’m telling you about it. I also enjoy riding my motorbike with friends!

WHAT ARE SOME FEATURES YOU'D WANT IN YOUR DREAM HOME?

I would love a farm one day, within 10 minutes of the City, more than 50 acres and far back from the road! Has to have a pond and forest as well.
